CFO Club Azerbaijan and AICPA & CIMA established cooperation

CFO Club Azerbaijan and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, representing the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), are now working together to support finance and accounting professionals in Azerbaijan.
As part of this cooperation, the two organisations will be working to develop the skills and competencies of the country’s finance and accounting community by providing access to a range of resources including thought leadership reports, online courses on technical skills and emerging trends, and organising joint events and activities.
One of the major initiatives planned for 2022 is the CIMA Emerging Leaders Championship, which will be held for Azerbaijani students. The championship will help to bring out the best in tomorrow’s young business leaders and develop the country’s future talent pool. This will be an incredible opportunity for students to showcase their finance and accounting skills and business acumen.

Cooperation between Baker Tilly Azerbaijan and CFO Club Azerbaijan

Baker Tilly Azerbaijan, one of the leading audit and consulting companies in the country, and CFO Club Azerbaijan, a newly established community of accounting, finance and audit professionals, has formed a new cooperation. During the meeting held for the signing of the MoU, parties discussed future plans and events. Ziya Ibrahimov, Director of Baker Tilly Azerbaijan, expressed hope that parties will encourage continued strong cooperation in organizing joint events, supporting young professionals in their development and sharing professional knowledge in the finance field.
It should be noted that CFO Club Azerbaijan is a recently established club community that aims to promote communication between finance professionals in Azerbaijan at all stages of their professional growth in order to support the development and raise the bar of professional capacity. This will be implemented by establishing communication platforms, launching development programs and holding numerous experience and knowledge-sharing events for networking. Within just a few weeks of operations, the CFO Club Azerbaijan has succeeded in attracting an audience of over 2,000 finance professionals.
